Thomas Londres Named To Top List of Commercial Brokers by National Publication
Local Executive Ranks in Real Estate Forum’s Listing of Industry’s Best
MT. LAUREL, NJ – June 26, 2008 – Thomas Londres, a Principal at Metro Commercial Real Estate in Mt. Laurel, NJ, was recently named to Real Estate Forum’s list of Top Brokers. Londres ranked second among the commercial real estate brokers lauded in the July issue of this widely-read magazine.
The editors of the prestigious national publication received hundreds of submissions for its first-ever Top Brokers list. Nominees scored in three areas: total number, square footage and dollar volume of completed transactions (final ranking was based on the sum of the three scores) for the period between March 2007 and March 2008.
In that time frame, Londres completed 125 lease transactions for a total of an astounding 3.4 million square feet. The total dollar value of his deals exceeded $646 million. The publication also makes note of one of Londres’s clients, Circuit City, for whom the executive negotiated new store locations at two prime Manhattan sites.
Since joining the firm almost at its inception in 1988, Londres has gained a reputation throughout the industry for building strong relationships with many of the nation’s top retailers including Target, PetSmart, Circuit City, Sports Authority, Lowe’s Companies, just to name a few.
Londres is also spearheading expansion programs for several of these retailers by strategizing, coordinating, and implementing their national expansion program. For example, Londres is a key figure in PetSmart’s expansion, having negotiated over 125 transactions in the Northeastern United States and the same is true for his current role on The Sports Authority and Circuit City Accounts. He has also played a major role in Target’s regional expansion with over 40 transactions being completed to date throughout NJ, PA, and DE.
Londres is a graduate of Montclair State University and resides in Moorestown, NJ, with his wife of 21 years and their four children.
