Metro Commercial Arranges 4,000 SF Lease in Jersey City for Cosi Fast Casual Restaurant

Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. continues to leads national expansion program for Cosi in northern New Jersey.

New location slated to open later this spring.

JERSEY CITY, NJ (HUDSON COUNTY)– February 14, 2007– As part of its continuing representation of Cosi in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. has negotiated a third location for the fast casual restaurant chain in Northern NJ.

Cosi will open a 4,OOO SF location within One Exchange Place, a commercial business district located at the intersection of Montgomery and Hudson Streets in downtown Jersey City. Owned by Exchange Place Associates LLC, One Exchange Place is the hub for the Jersey City Financial District. This 10-story building, which is a historical landmark, is within walking distance to numerous commercial, residential and hotel properties.

Metro Commercial’s Jeff Lagowitz and Tom Butera represented Cosi and Exchange Place Associates LLC, in the transaction. “This is a perfect location for Cosi as it is situated in a high-traffic area that draws from the nearby PATH station and NJ Transit light rail stop,” says Lagowitz, “They will be a welcome addition to the downtown workforce.”
