Metro Commercial Leads Expansion Program for FedEx Kinko’s throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware
Metro Commercial negotiates two new locations for the national business services chain
JENKINTOWN, PA (Montgomery County), and NEWARK, DE (New Castle County), August 15, 2006 -- Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc., the region’s premier full-service retail real estate company, has arranged two new leases for FedEx Kinko’s, the world's leading provider of document solutions and business services. Randy Hope of Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. exclusively represented the retailer in both transactions.
In Jenkintown, PA, a 2,000 SF lease was negotiated at Cloverly Plaza, a neighborhood center located at Route 611 & Madeira Roads. Owned by Goodman Properties, this 25,000 SF shopping center is anchored by CVS. Additional tenants include Supercuts, Bank of America, H&R Block, and Corners Framing. This location is slated to open in the fall of 2006.
In Newark, NJ a 2,000 SF lease was also arranged at Center Point Plaza, located at 1301-1325 New Churchmans Road. Owned by Capano Management, This newly constructed 500,000 SF power center is anchored by Home Depot and PetSmart. Additionaltenants include Eastern Mountain Sports, Golf Galaxy and La-Z-boy Furniture.This location is slated to open in the fall of 2006.

FedexKinko’s is currently seeking +1,600-2,000 SF locations throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware in end cap, pad site or free-standing properties. As an operating company of FedEx Corporation, FedexKinko’s is launching new retail stores that are designed to provide superior customer service and convenience. These new centers are one third the size of a traditional shipping center but will expand document solutions and business services, as well as other new features. The company plans on opening 200 new centers across the United States by 2007.
