Metro Commercial Arranges 2,500 SF Lease at Fairmont Village Shopping Center
D & J Sports, Inc. to open in the fall of 2006
Upper Saucon (Lehigh Valley), PA – August 9, 2006 -- Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc., the region’s premier full-service retail real estate company, has negotiated a new lease for D & J Sports, Inc.
The sportswear retailer is located at 7000 South Route 309, within the Fairmont Village Shopping Center, a 100,000 SF neighborhood center owned by APS Associates LLC. Tenants include King’s Supermarket and CVS Pharmacy.
Metro Commercial’s Gregory Jones and Randy Hope represented Kirpal Saini, of APS Associates LLC, in the transaction. The Upper Saucon location is ideally situated in the southeastern corner of Lehigh County and is approximately 60 miles north of Philadelphia and 80 miles east of Harrisburg. This location will mark the retailer’s 8th store nationwide and its second in Pennsylvania.
“This location within Fairmont Village was vacant for over three years prior to Metro Commercial’s involvement in March of 2006,” said leasing agent Gregory Jones. “We are pleased to retain a tenant of D & J’s stature to lease this in-line property.”

D & J Sports, Inc. offers competition swim gear from such well-known retailers as Speedo, Tyr, Nike, Splish and Dolfin. In addition, D & J carries T-shirts, bags, hats, visors, water bottles, warm-ups, and parkas that can be customized for corporate identity.
