Metro Commercial Real Estate Negotiates Lease for Conestoga Bank

Charter location scheduled to open in Fall 2006

EAGLE, PA – April 27, 2006 – Metro Commercial Real Estate, the region’s premier full-service retail real estate company has announced the completion of a 5,000 square foot lease for Conestoga Bank.  This will be the first location for the recently formed financial institution.

The regional retail bank, funded by AMC Delancey Group, is located in The Shoppes at Eagle Village, 157 Pottstown Pike (Route 100) in Eagle, Pennsylvania.  This +/-20,000 square foot community center is owned by Carl Abbonizio.  Metro Commercial’s Gregory Jones represented the owner in the transaction; AMC Delancey Group negotiated the transaction on behalf of Conestoga Bank. The financial institution is scheduled to open in Fall 2006.

Conestoga Bank is a new full service community bank being formed by Richard A. Elko, former President and CEO of Patriot Bank.  When charted, Conestoga Bank plans to provide full-service financial benefits, including extended hours, drive-through banking, Internet and telephone banking and access to a surcharge-free ATM network.
