Metro Commercial Negotiates New Lease for Rainbow Apparel

READING, PA – March 14, 2006― Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc., the region’s premier full-service real estate company has negotiated an 8,190 square foot lease in a new location for the discount clothing chain, Rainbow Apparel Company.

This new store, located at 501 Penn Street in Reading, is scheduled to open in June of this year.  The lease was negotiated by Metro Commercial’s Greg Jones.   

Rainbow Apparel is a national chain that specializes in juniors, plus sizes and children’s apparel. Founded in 1935, Rainbow has grown to well over 1,000 stores throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. They specialize in the distribution of women’s, teen’s and children’s fashions at reasonable prices.

This freestanding location, owned by The Maplewood Group, Inc., was previously occupied by D.E. Jones Incorporated.
