Metro Commercial Negotiates Lease for L.L.Bean at The Shops at Saucon Valley
LEHIGH VALLEY, PA – February 15, 2006 – Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc., the region’s premier full-service retail real estate company, has brokered a lease for a new L.L.Bean retail store at The Shops at Saucon Valley. Metro Commercial’s Steve Niggeman represented L.L.Bean in the transaction.
L.L.Bean, Inc. has been a trusted source for quality apparel, reliable outdoor equipment and expert advice for more than 90 years. The 30,000 square-foot store will boast a full-selection of legendary L.L.Bean products, including apparel, fishing gear and camping supplies.
Located at the Intersection of I-78 and Highway 309 in the Upper Saucon Township, The Shops at Saucon Valley is a 600,000 square-foot lifestyle center that is a part of the 1,700-acre mixed-use Stabler Center development owned by Poag & McEwen. This area of the Lehigh Valley is known for its upscale housing, country club developments, emerging office campus concentration, and central location within the Lehigh Valley.
L.L.Bean is slated to open during the summer of 2006, where it will be joined by award winning restaurants, fashion and home furnishing retailers and an 18-screen megaplex movie theater. This is the second deal that Metro Commercial has negotiated on behalf of L.L.Bean in the region – the first being located at the Promenade at Sagemore in Marlton, NJ.
