Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. Named Finalist for Pennsylvania Business Journal's "Best Real Estate Deals 2005"
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA – October 10, 2005―Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc., the region's premier full-service retail real estate company has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a finalist for the "Best Real Estate Deals 2005". Metro Commercial was one of only three retail real estate brokerage firms nominated.
Metro Commercial was chosen as a finalist for the "retail" category for the sale of Gateway Shopping Center. Gateway, which is located at Route 202 and Route 252 in Wayne, PA, is one of the area's top performing shopping centers. Metro Commercial's Paul Rumley and Kurt Rumley represented both the seller Richard Haisfield, and the buyer Regency Center Corporation in the transaction.
The program recognizes the previous year's top real estate deals in 8 categories, based on size, complexity, and impact on the community. Entries are solicited through the commercial real estate community and judged by a panel of industry experts.
The final rankings were announced at a cocktail reception on Oct 6th, 2005.
