Value retailer Fleming has chosen Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc., to
dispose of surplus locations in four states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware
and Maryland. The #1 supplier of consumer package goods to retailers, Fleming
also operates more than 125 stores under the Food4Less, Rainbow Foods and
Yes!Less banners. Metro Commercial has successfully negotiated the lease
termination of a 44,998 square foot Fleming store at the Cherry Hill Plaza,
500 Route 38 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The property is anchored by Toys-R-Us
and is situated at the corner of Route 38 and Cuthbert Boulevard, about
a mile from the Cherry Hill Mall. Metro is also disposing of these two previous
Fleming stores: a former Lauer's Super Thrift in Upper Marlboro, Maryland,
which is 50,485 square feet, and a former Jubilee Foods, which measures
26,245 square feet, in the Waynesboro Shopping Center, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
The Metro Commercial team of Tom Londres, Brent Barbehenn, Mark Gerlach
and Kurt Rumley is handling the disposition of roughly 500,000 square feet
of Fleming surplus altogether.
