Pete is based out of our Mount Laurel, New Jersey office and has been with Metro Commercial Real Estate since 1999. Pete has been the lead broker responsible for leasing over three dozen shopping centers, up to 250,000 square feet, from Southern New York through Central New Jersey and Center City, Philadelphia. In NJPA Real Estate Journal's "Best of 2004," Pete was ranked 23rd out of the 50 Top Brokers of 2004 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Metro Commercial Real Estate, Pete was a Worldwide Market Manager and Major Account Sales Representative at Rohm & Haas Company for 20 years, where he called on the largest paint companies in North America. Representing the Paint Industry, Pete was on the negotiation committee with the EPA, which developed all of the regulations for organic emissions for architectural and wood furniture paints. Known throughout the industry for representing Landlords, Pete has successfully leased numerous large suites where heavy redevelopment was required, including dividing a 57,000 square foot former Ames into three suites, increasing a former supermarket by 10,000 square feet to accommodate a 55,000 square foot Stop & Shop, and major structural and parking/site improvements for a 38,000 square foot two-story L.A. Fitness with pool. Pete's best deals of 2004 include the sale of the 77,000 SF Syms building in Lawrenceville, NJ; the 4,500 SF Commerce Bank lease in Two Penn Center, Philadelphia; the expansion to 46,000 SF of Marshall's in Seacourt Pavilion, NJ and Macy's lease termination of 76,676 SF at South Brunswick Square and the simultaneous introduction of Home Depot to lease 105,000 SF. Pete is a member of the ICSC and Realty Resources. Pete graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and also graduated from the Wharton Evening Management Program. Pete resides in Moorestown, New Jersey with his wife Annie and his two children, Pete and Chris. His hobbies include skiing, cycling and fishing and his lifetime goal yet to be reached is a week of Helicopter Skiing in the Bugaboos of British Columbia.
